Krinklewood Biodynamic Vineyard is looking for a dynamic and experienced candidate to join our team and help run our Cellar Door in a permanent part time to full time role.

Krinklewood is a family owned certified biodynamic organic vineyard and farm with the cellar door & winery all onsite. The french inspired cellar door is set amongst beautiful gardens, urns and fountains and is nestled in the pictureque Broke Fordwich Valley. We offer our cellar door guests a unique Krinklewood experience with consistently good ratings and a very big repeat/referral customer base.

It really is a lovely place to work, with the cellar door open Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays at this stage, so weekend / public holiday work is mandatory. We are also looking to expand our opening days in the future, and there would be some administration hours/ days included in this role.

The successful candidate should offer exceptional customer service and demonstrate excellent leadership and communication skills. It's the perfect role for someone that loves wine, loves interacting with customers , is driven by sales & customer enjoyment and works well within a team and leading a team.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Sales & Customer Service
  • Weekend work ( with occasional weekends or days off )
  • Wine knowledge
  • an interest in organics
  • Ability to maintain and achieve team sales targets
  • Manage the day to day operation of the cellar door
  • Manage opening & closing procedures incl cash & daily report
  • Work closely with our Business Manager and Wine Club Manager
  • Manage cellar door tasting bookings
  • Assist with cellar door & wine club events
  • Strong leadership skills

Qualifications & Experience to include:

  • RSA
  • Drivers licence
  • Cellar door Sales experience
  • Australian residents only please
  • Forklift licence would be desirable
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills
  • Experience with POS system and Microsoft office programs

Renumeration will be based on experience, with a chance for this part time role to become full time in the future for the right applicant.
