In this role

  • This role is a casual role for approximately a 3 month period only and requires strong forklift abilities
  • You will be required to perform duties of a Storeperson in Warehouse environment

Key accountabilities include

  • Ability to work in a self directed manner and as part of the warehouse team
  • Ability to continuously break down and re-pack pallets of product in the correct configurations
  • Knowledge of warehouse procedures and documentation
  • Knowledge of major activities within the warehouse
  • Ability to operate a forklift for an extended period of time and dispatch stock
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with warehouse and transport personnel
  • Ability to work autonomously when required
  • Operation of electronic equipment such as scanner
  • Data entry

Other accountabilities include

  • Other  duties as required
  • Comply with all SHEQ policies and procedures

Essential knowledge and skills are

Functional

  • Forklift operation
  • Computer skills

  • Ability to work autonomously

Required experience is

  • A minimum of 6 months experience in a similar environment
  • Current forklift licence
  • Successful completion of AQF2 certificate in Food Processing (Wine) in the warehouse units relevant to a grade 2 storperson

  • Physical and other requirements
  • Manual Handling
  • Operation of forklift for extended periods
  • Exposure to a noisy environment.
