Callao invites diners to encounter Nikkei, a Japanese-Peruvian cuisine melting hearts across the globe. This is food inspired by the elements and ignited by two cultures who came together to create something remarkable. Callao combines classic ingredients and intricate techniques to create dishes that are at once diverse and intriguing, familiar yet unknown. With an extensive wine list and cocktails that infuse tastes from Tokyo to Lima.
Callao Restaurant will operate 7 Days a Week for Lunch and Dinner.

Offering an Annual Salary of $80,000 per year + Super + Tips

Duties:
Assistant Restaurant Manager, however, not limited to;
- Supervise and oversee the daily operational management of the business.
- Mentor, develop and motivate your team to offer outstanding service and maintain highest possible standards.
- Leading by example, drive and maintain exceptional customer service experience for our patrons.
- Leading the setting up of floor and table service.
- Delegate responsibilities to staff e.g. service section, supporting and monitoring results.
- Collaborate with business owners, directors and management staff
- Ability to identify and resolve via the best available solution, with a positive outcome disputes, concerns or complaints from team members or patrons.
- Proactive monitoring and assessment of CoG’s and staff allocation throughout the Callao venue working aligned with resources, budget allocations and sales forecasting.
- Management of rostering, with the ability to forward plan and forecast for events.
- Maintaining a strong work-ethic and compliance to all company policies and procedures in place, in addition to safety for people and food management at all times and aligned with OH&S practices.
- A pro-active assessment and accountability to implement solutions and / or raise awareness and escalate in a clear and professional manner to owners requiring their attention.
- Ability to plan, commit and action, completing with success, all delegated and required administration tasks, stock management, maintaining an accurate and clear record keeping account, where required.
- Ability to fulfil duties of team members and willingness to pro-actively assist and support when required, e.g. Till/Cashier Handling and Management, Customer Service
- Planning and co-ordinating with relevant stake-holders, e.g. Head-Chef, Bar (Beer, Wine, Spirits, Cocktail) and Food (A La Carte, Banquets, Packages) menus and driving promotional support via staff for their success.
Skills and Experience
- At least 2-3 years’ experience in a role similar.
- NSW RSA Certified
- Ready to work in a fast pace environment.
- Ability to work towards KPI's
- Ability to excels under pressure and has a great attention to detail.
