Located in Moonambel in Victoria’s stunning Pyrenees region, Dalwhinnie is a world-renowned producer of some of Australia’s most coveted wines, including two Langton’s Classified Shiraz. With over 40 years’ experience, the 16-hectare vineyard is now fully mature, producing true varietal fruit characters with great concentration of flavours.
It is currently being amalgamated into the portfolio of the Fogarty Wine Group. An exciting opportunity has now arisen for an enthusiastic and experienced Cellar Door Supervisor to join our team and be based at our stunning vineyard in Moonambel.
The Cellar Door Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Cellar Door and achieving established key performance measures relating to sales, customer service/ satisfaction and rewards club.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cellar Door sales and customer service
- Operation and promotion of the Rewards Club
- Hygiene, sanitation and safety
- Inventory control – fulfilment of orders
- Food Service – cheese platters
- Administration – end of day processes, general duties etc.
Successful applicants must have:
- High level of customer service
- Good wine knowledge
- Ideally, prior experience with strong track record of success
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organisational skills
- Ability to prioritise, multitask and meet changing deadlines and work well under pressure
- Competent MS Office skills
- Strong knowledge of EFTPOS, POS software systems and online payment gateway systems
- A current RSA.
This is a permanent full-time position, working Thursday to Monday inclusive.
