This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside Yalumba’s renowned winemakers and assist in the vintaging of outstanding wines at our Angaston winery site.
We are seeking two qualified and experienced winemakers (1 white wine specialist and 1 red wine specialist) to monitor and maintain the quality processing of fruit and processed juice in the red and white cellar. Working collaboratively and cooperatively with the Cellar and Winemaking team you will monitor and manage ferments, make additions and respond to anomalies to meet winemaking standards.
You will have superior technical and oenological competencies and demonstrate high attention to detail and excellent communication skills. You will enjoy working in a team environment and also be capable of operating autonomously.
The positions require night shift work, up to 12 hours per day and 6 days per week. The roles are likely to commence in early January and conclude late March to mid-April respectively, dependent on the season.
