Simon Sorby Adams is the owner and chief winemaker, with his son Digby managing winery and production so the team is lean but growing. Plus with the support and interaction of our sales agents in Asia, UK and USA with distributors across Australia and international markets.
We are now seeking a marketing manager or marketing coordinator to support our sales endeavours and brand development.
The position:
This position can be based at our winery on Light Pass Road Angaston or remotely within South Australia or Adelaide as work from home option.
Full time is offered but part time will be considered for the right candidate.
A generous salary commensurate with experience is offered and some flexibility for job description to match the right person will also be considered.

What we're looking for:
- Passion for wine and willingness to learn more about wine.
- Attention to detail.
- Either - A degree in communications or marketing preferred but not essential; or, at least 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
- Proven creative copywriting skills, an articulate communication style, and a keen eye.
- Prior knowledge of shopify, klayvio, Canva, google and e-Commerce platforms preferred.
- Excellent computer literacy with a quick ability to learn is essential.
Key responsibilities and tasks:
- Liaising and managing sales agents and distributor needs.
- Brand guidelines and marketing materials, branding, and merchandise.
- Tasting notes – writing and updating on Canva, website and to agents.
- New product development and packaging development, management of suppliers and artwork.
- Brand presentations and pitch decks.
- Trade show preparation and some attendance.
- Consumer tasting event preparation and attendance.
- Photography coordination.
- Follow up of national accounts in support of owner.
- Hosting guests to winery.
- Tastings – trade and consumer as needed.
- New ideas generation and initiative.
- Website updates.
- EDM Newsletters and Wine Club Management - working with our suppliers.
- Socials – LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook plus content creation.
- Administration needs.
- Google sheet maintenance and updates.
- Government liaison and grant submission plus milestone reporting.
- Regional liaison and activations.
- Media liaison and writing press releases.
- Domestic/international research and submissions
- Tenders for monopoly markets and others.
