G. Patritti & Co Pty Ltd are a proud third generation family business, established by Giovanni Patritti in 1926. We are the last remaining fully operational family owned winery in suburban Adelaide, located in Dover Gardens. We are custodians of the historic Marion Urban Vineyards and own and operate two premium McLaren Vale vineyards in Blewitt Springs and Tatachilla, both planted by the family in early 1960’s.
We also produce premium non-alcoholic wine, grape juice and spirits. Our soon to be opened Cellar II Tasting Room will be open everyday from 10am to 5pm and on Fridays until 9pm.
About the role
As a Wine Ambassador, you will assist with the day-to-day operations of our new Tasting Room and the Wine Shop. You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, hosting customer tastings and experiences. Full training will be provided. This role is an ideal opportunity for someone within the Hospitality Industry looking to develop their wine knowledge and experience.
You must be available to work weekends, public holidays, and school holidays. The majority of the shifts will be rostered between 9.30am and 5.30pm with some Friday nights required.
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Delivering the Patritti story to all our guests
- Offering exceptional customer service
- Signing up mailing list and club members
- Opening and closing of the Tasting Room and Wine Shop
- Till reconciliation
Skills & experience
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Cellar Door, hospitality, or events role
- Sales experience
- Exceptional customer service
- Ability to host multiple customers at once in a busy environment
- Passion for wine and the local wine regions
- Current RSA & ideally RP badge
- Reliable vehicle with full driver’s license
- WSET highly desirable
