The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Officer, Viticulture Pathology to be part of our South Australian Research and Development Institute (SARDI) Division within PIRSA. The role reports to the Senior Research Officer.

The Technical Officer, Viticulture Pathology is responsible for providing research support for the efficient delivery of high quality results for the "Fungicide Resistance in Viticulture" project and related areas. The Technical Officer is responsible for the set-up and management of laboratory, greenhouse and field experiments. Duties will include the preparation of experimental materials, monitoring experimental progress, data collection and analyses.

Special Conditions
This is a part time contract / term vacancy working 22.50 hours per week up to 30/06/2019. Possession of a current driver's licence and a willingness to drive is required. Out of hours work may be required on occasion. You will be exposed on a regular basis to agricultural chemicals and potential allergens. A current Chemical Accreditation certificate is required or a willingness to obtain one.
