An exciting opportunity has arisen within our team for an enthusiastic and passionate person to join our Tasting Room. Reporting directly to the Tasting Room Manager, you will need to demonstrate:
- A customer-centric approach to your work with impeccable customer service standards and a passion to provide memorable experiences to all who visit Gemtree.
- Passionate about sustainability, the environment with knowledge of or interest in Biodynamic and Organic farming practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills both in person and by phone with high levels of professionalism.
- Wine knowledge and/or experience in a hospitality environment (min 2 years).
- WSET training or a willingness to undergo WSET training.
- Proficiency in key administrative processes in a sales environment including experience in the use of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Outlook, MYOB and POS systems.
- Sales driven with a proven sales track record.
- High standard of personal presentation.
- Ability to work under pressure- both autonomously and in a team environment.
- Self-motivated and a willingness to bring creative ideas to the table.
- Positivity, ambition and kindness.
This is a Full-time role - working Sunday through Thursday.
Adaptability and the ability to work autonomously will provide the successful candidate with an interesting and fun work environment with scope for growth within the role.
