A leading premium supplier for cork & BVS closures in partnership with one of the key suppliers for oak barrels offer a fantastic opportunity to join this business as a Sales Consultant.

With a corporate subsidiary in Adelaide and as part of continued expansion of both companies, the position of a Sales Consultant is vacant at their head office in South Australia. The candidate will be dealing with industry partners in the wine regions of South Australia and Victoria.

The successful applicant will ideally have experience in the wine industry and knowledge of the wine-making processes would also be advantageous. It would potentially suit an experienced sales consultant or a winemaker/cellar-hand looking for a career change and a chance to earn some good money in sales.

We require a candidate that is driven, highly organised, and has the ability to build and develop new relationships with key industry partners in SA and Victoria.

A comprehensive training on our range of products will be provided.

A highly competitive salary package including fully maintained car, laptop, and mobile will be negotiated with the successful candidate. 

Key responsibilities:

  • targeting given sales budget
  • develop long lasting relationship with customer
  • analyses and develop sales provisions
  • stock take management for selected products
  • participate at major wine industry activities in Australia

 

The right candidate will have:

  • experience in the wine industry
  • knowledge of the wine-making processes
  • sales skills
  • ability to plan work and achieve goals autonomously
  • availability to travel and personally deliver some products
  • possible home office allowance
