Label Integrity Program Auditor
(Wine Jobs:
Vineyards & Cellars )
Full Time
Adelaide,
South Australia
Australian wine is authentic, exciting and bold – just like the people who create it. With the vision for Australia to be recognised as the world’s pre-eminent wine producer, Wine Australia and its dynamic team play a vital role in supporting the sector to achieve this through global marketing, managing research and development, and protecting the reputation of Australian wine. Wine Australia is the service body for the Australian grape and wine sector.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Wine Australia’s regulatory services team as a Label Integrity Program (LIP) Auditor.
Our LIP Auditors conduct audits of wineries to ensure the truth of Australian wine labels. The team also play an integral role in educating the sector to ensure wines are exported from Australia without a glitch, and that exporters understand the trips and traps of entering into new import markets.
If you are an excellent communicator who enjoys working in a team, you have sound computer literacy and you can demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, this may be the job for you.
The auditing component of the role requires frequent travel to Australia’s winemaking regions, which means that a current driver’s licence is essential. Members of the team typically spend one week travelling per month.
It would be highly desirable for you to have a tertiary qualification in oenology and be familiar with winery record keeping requirements; however, these are not prerequisites. It would be well regarded if you had formal auditing qualifications and hands-on winery experience. We are also interested to hear from mandarin speaking candidates.
