JOB OBJECTIVE
You will be a part of our global logistics operations team ensuring all our customer orders are efficiently and effectively delivered through commercially viable solutions. You will be arranging logistics for wide variety of exports, imports, domestic or cross-trade orders, in partnership with service providers and vendors.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
You will be responsible for co-ordinating logistics arrangements to deliver all customer orders from the point of collection to delivery on the assigned trade route. You will be required to communicate constantly with customers, shipping/ air freight, trucking partners and other JF Hillebrand Group Offices in order to manage the transport and documentation for the order. You will ensure commercial viability on all orders by continuously monitoring and managing costs, timelines and service quality. You will ensure customer requirements are met, customers are up-to-date on their orders and documentation is accurate and precise.
KEY SKILLS
You have successfully completed secondary education with Mathematics and English subjects. You must have a minimum of 12 months experience in import coordination or the Freight Forwarding Industry and understand Incoterms.
You enjoy working in a customer facing environment and have the ability to work with diverse groups of people. Challenging work excites you, you like to plan all your work ahead of time and can easily manage multiple tasks. You have a can-do approach towards everything you begin, you are often the person who takes initiatives in the team. You are comfortable working on computer system and can solve problems with ease.
