Front of House - Food and Beverage Supervisor
Exclusive CBD location and setting, the Queen Adelaide Club located on North Terrace and established in 1909, is a private Members Club offering a premier level of Member Services ranging from fine dining, hospitality, leisure activities and private Club facilities.
We currently require the skills of a Food and Beverage Supervisor to join our friendly, fast paced and quality focused Front of House team and establishment. The successful candidate must have proven experience in the industry and a great willingness to learn, together with a passion for providing exceptional customer service to Members and guests.
The Food and Beverage Supervisor position is a hands-on role with a high level of responsibility. The successful applicant will be responsible for supervising the day-to-day operations of the Club, reporting to the Food and Beverage Manager, and is responsible to act and perform the duties of the Food and Beverage Manager in their absence. This role will be well suited to a self-driven individual with a strong work ethic and a high standard of service and attention to detail.
To be successful in this role you must have:
- Previous experience in a similar role
- A genuine passion and strong knowledge of food and beverage
- Exceptional time and task management skills with the ability to multitask
- Excellent communication skills, with a strong focus on Member satisfaction
- A positive and motivating personality and lead by example
- Demonstrated ability to work as an effective team member, as well as independently when required
- Strong supervisory and delegation skills
- A flexible and adaptable approach
- Restaurant a la carte experience
- Function experience
- A Food Safety and Handling Certificate
- A Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate.
- Responsible Persons Badge
- A high standard of grooming and presentation

We pay in relation to experience according to the Award, with all penalties, such as overtime, weekend and public holiday rates strictly adhered to.
This position is Full-Time with shifts Monday to Friday, days and evenings.
38 hours available per week.
