Vinify Wine Co is a leading supplier to Adelaide's food and wine scene, specialising in local and imported fine wines & food products. We are looking for a motivated and service driven individual to manage the day-to-day wholesale deliveries, and provide our customers with a reliability and trustworthiness. As well as delivery duties, this role includes maintenance of the Vinify warehouse facilities and responsibilities for picking and packing orders, stock and transfers
Purpose of this role:
To manage daily deliveries in an efficient and effective manner and to assist in the maintenance of Vinify warehouse
Duties are as follows:
- Assist to load the delivery van each morning
- Adhering to a strict delivery schedule.
- Maintaining customer relations, being courteous at all times.
- Adhering to OHS safety procedures.
- Deliver wholesale orders to the trade between Monday to Friday in an efficient manner and to a strict delivery schedule
- Maintaining customer relationships
- Check orders with customers to ensure the correct goods have been delivered
- Process necessary paperwork for credits, pickups etc.
- Handle paperwork and money (cash/cheques) responsibly and efficiently
- Promote, where possible, VWC exclusive products and conduct yourself in a manner that promotes VWC to the trade
- Assisting with maintenance of VWC warehouse
- Unloading containers and receiving deliveries
- Packing and sending interstate orders
- Prepare and transfer orders for stock from QUBE to Newton warehouse locations
- Comply with Vinify Wine Co procedures and code of conduct
- Adhering to OHS safety procedures
Suitable candidates will:
- Have previous experience in a similar role
- Hold a valid class C driver's license
- Hold a valid forklift license
- Have a good geographical knowledge of Adelaide and surrounding areas.
- Have good physical fitness and the ability to perform repetitive manual lifting.
- Be flexible with working hours and capable of doing overtime if required

Reporting Line
This position reports to the Vinify Wine Co operations manager
The successful candidate will be self-motivated, passionate about service excellence and have the ability to work effectively as part of the VWC team
