About the business

Nelson Wine Company are a market leading fine wine distributor with portfolios across the eastern seaboard.  Our focus is the on-premise & independent retail market.  Our portfolios are made up of iconic Australian, New Zealand and European brands.  We are looking for expressions of interest from experienced Senior Wine Sales Professionals.  Industry knowledge, passion and expertise is a must with a strong commitment to join the Nelson Wine Co. team. As an established Area Manager in South Australia you will service an existing territory and have continued growth in an ever changing city.  A focus on developing new business  with a thorough understanding of the on-premise and independent retail  market a prerequisite.

About the role

As an experience Senior Wine Sales professional you will service and grow a portfolio of established accounts within  Adelaide & Surrounds,  in addition to focusing on developing new business.Your energy and enthusiasm will have produced excellent results for you in the past and this is an opportunity to bring those skills to a rewarding business.

The successful candidate will be a proactive, strong communicator, who demonstrates a high level of integrity and honesty, is organized and professionally presented. Only applications with wine sales experienced need apply.

Skills and experience

We are seeking applicants with:

  • strong wine knowledge
  • wine industry experience & existing local networks essential
  • demonstrated experience in a sales position
  • experience & passion for wine and the hospitality industry
  • a commitment to building strong business relationships
  • understanding of what excellent customer service is all about
  • a willingness to work in a dynamic team environment

Minimum of 5 years sales experience in wine sales essential
