Winery Production and Logistics Manager
Murray Street is seeking to employ an experienced Production and Logistics Manager. This is a multi-disciplined role and will encompass responsibility for Production, Logistics and Winery Maintenance Planning.
The position is primarily responsible for managing and maintaining the Production Plan. This will include working with Senior Management and ensuring that production schedules are adhered to, establishing priorities, identifying risks, developing risk mitigation plans and communicating any issues to Management.
The Winery Production and Logistics Manger will be responsible for managing the scheduling of production work (bottling, labelling and packaging) as per the Production Plan.
The Winery Production and Logistics Manager will facilitate ongoing review of production processes and policies, and identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
The position is also responsible for the direction, focus and effective management of warehouse and distribution in line with best practice.
Minimum Experience
- A proven record of experience and achievement in winery production through to finished product;
- Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office (excel and word);
- Exceptional communication skills;
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise workloads;
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail; and
- High level of leadership skills.
