About us
Bartsch Vignerons is a family owned and operated grape growing business based in the Adelaide Hills. Established in 1999, the business has grown to 50 Ha of planted vines across 3 vineyards; located at Echunga, Lenswood and Forreston. Grapes are supplied, via long term contracts, to various wineries throughout South Australia. This is your opportunity to be part of a friendly, professional and small team in a growing and thriving business.
Qualifications & experience
- Experienced applicants only need apply
- Reporting directly to the owner, the successful applicant must be able to work autonomously, but also take direction as required
- Willing to work across 3 separate sites
- Willing to work nights and weekends as required over the harvest period
- The ideal candidate would be adaptable, personable and have excellent problem solving skills
Tasks & responsibilities
- Operation of heavy machinery, including tractors, spray units, trimmers, spreaders and forklifts
- Maintenance of trellising and irrigation systems, including post knocking
- Care, maintenance and basic repairs of vineyard machinery
Benefits
- Wage to be negotiated commensurate with experience. Expect above award rates and a work vehicle. Position available immediately, but we will wait for the right candidate.
