As the business embarks on the next phase of growth, it has been determined to now commence a strategic recruitment and search process to appoint a high-calibre Cellar Door & Trade Ambassador to further enhance visitor engagement, brand awareness, Direct to Consumer (DtC) initiatives and to build strong in-trade activity in the On-Premise category.
About the Role
Reporting to the General Manager/ Chief Winemaker and in close collaboration with the marketing and logistics team, the role will be a key member of RedHeads Wine organisation, charged with leading, developing and implementing breakthrough cellar-door activities. This is a unique and critically important role that will have responsibility for all customer facing engagement, meeting, greeting, and educating visitors at cellar door by building strong equity in the RedHeads Wine brand and philosophy, ensuring the efficient operation of all cellar door activities, supervision, training, and contributing to marketing campaigns, brand development and event management. This is a unique and critically important role, with your primary responsibilities to include;

About You
The successful candidate must have a minimum five years’ experience as a hospitality professional, with a particular interest and knowledge of wine. A natural and engaging “people-person” they thrive on the interaction with visitors and the opportunity to educate and share their knowledge of wine. The candidate will need a current RP Badge, and drivers’ licence. A true team player, they will be focused on building collaborative relationships across the business that contributes to a high-performing culture. This is a hands-on, roll your sleeves up position that will appeal to hospitality/ bar operations and consultative-selling style candidates that can point to previous success in a similar role, gained within the wine/ beverage and/ or tourism sector.
In terms of personal attributes, candidates will be skilled at communicating and interacting well with a diverse range of visitors, On-Premise customers and stakeholders, who demonstrate empathy, patience and effective customer relationships. Networking professionally with credibility and confidence will be highly regarded.
