Lambert Estate Wines, situated in Angaston in the beautiful Barossa Valley is a premium wine destination. The state of the art winery, cellar door, accommodation, function space, gallery and restaurant were completed in 2016. With an operational winery downstairs, and seating for up to 600 guests upstairs in a variety of spaces, Lambert Estate is committed to providing an incredible food and wine experience to all guests. With home grown produce from our greenhouse and orchard, and spectacular views overlooking the rolling hills and vineyards, Lambert Estate provides a truly memorable experience.
Reporting to the Front of House Manager, this role is responsible for providing exceptional tasting, dining and event experiences to our guests. Night and day work will be required working across the venue in cellar door, functions, events and restaurant within the venue.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Host and educate guests on our story and products by providing amazing winery experiences while focusing on building tasting room sales and customer base.
- Provide all aspects of fine dining service.
- Accurately manage POS transactions
- Drive wine & club sales
- Represent Lambert Estate professionally, graciously and enthusiastically.
- Maintain a high standard of personal hygiene at all times
- Other duties may be assigned
The successful applicant will possess the following qualities:
- Appreciation and passion for wine and food
- Current RSA certification
- Food service experience
- Initiative
- Ability to work in a team, or alone on task
- Desire to learn, grow and develop
- Have own transport, and able to work flexible hours, including weekends and nights
