About the role
Reporting to the Grounds Manager, the successful applicant will be exposed to all aspects of the building and grounds maintenance across multiple sites. To be successful in this role you must possess a high degree of flexibility and initiative and have an eye for detail and a willingness to learn. Must be reliable, passionate and friendly to the public whilst working in a small, busy team.
The successful applicant must be able to provide a high standard of work performance, good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team is important or finish a task as directed on their own accord.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Turf Management
- Irrigation
- Herbicide/fungicide spraying
- Pruning
- Hedging
- Planting
- Mulching
- Garden design
- Fertilising
- General maintenance
- Tractor work.
Skills and experience
- Preferably Completed year 12
- Possess a valid Australian Drivers Licence
