Kalleske Wines, located at Greenock in the north-western Barossa Valley has forged an enviable reputation in a short period of time. We require a professional, outgoing and enthusiastic person to be responsible for, and hands on in the day to day running of our busy cellar door. You will be able to make the most of your friendly disposition and exceptional customer service and communication skills as you promote our brand, maximise sales revenue and engage and educate customers to ensure everyone who visits encounters a memorable experience. Being highly motivated and well organized will see you planning and conducting interesting tastings and events for our customers.
Experience in a similar role and the ability to organise and lead casual staff along with a genuine passion for food and wine is ideally essential. Your abilities will shine through ensuring the smooth operation and coordination of all activities working closely with and well supported by other staff members. A motor vehicle licence and current RSA certificate is required and manual handling duties along with weekend work are a part of this role. Point of sale and database experience and knowledge are a distinct advantage.
This key appointment is an interesting and exciting opportunity and plays a vital part in the future ongoing success of Kalleske Wines, expectations of the person filling this position are high. There is a degree of flexibility for either a full time or part time person, and scope for someone coming from the same role and highly experienced or else on the up and coming with some transferable skills ready to take on more responsibility and a new challenge.
