Joval Wine Group is a dynamic, entrepreneurial and fun privately owned Wine & Glassware distributor servicing both the on and off premise market. Established in 1963, Joval Wine Group's activities are focused on fine wine, being underpinned by two of the most prestigious and well regarded fine wine distribution entities in Australia, red+white and Mezzanine, The Fine Wine Specialist. We have offices throughout Australia and an affiliation with wine production companies in both Australia and New Zealand and employ upwards of 200 staff nationally.
What will your role entail?
Due to recent business growth, we are now looking for an energetic sales person to step into a permanent full-time Area Business Manager role which will primarily concentrate on representing Red+White and Mezzanine portfolios in the metro area.
This role would ideally suit someone with solid wine knowledge, hospitality industry knowledge and sales experience. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, driven and passionate about wine and sales. The role will report into our VIC State Manager and our office is located in Abbotsford.

- Working within your own territory, you’ll be responsible for implementing high quality account management to maximise growth.
- Taking ownership for all customer queries (phone & face to face) and providing effective and efficient solutions.
- Maximising business within your territory through execution of trade activity, account planning and reporting.
- Identifying & pursuing new business opportunities.
- Developing yearly and monthly strategies for meeting and exceeding budgets.
- Providing action plans and target lists for key brands in the portfolio.
- Aligning promotional activities to improve sales results
What we'd ideally like you to have...
- Wine experience, hospitality experience and/or sales experience
- A youthful energy coupled with a natural ability to drive positive sales outcomes
- Passion for wine coupled with wine knowledge
- Solid written & verbal communication skills Personable, charismatic, resilient and driven personality
- Demonstrated initiative in a similar environment
- The ability to work autonomously and within a team
- Current valid car license and own vehicle
- Current Responsible service of Alcohol Certification.
