The Direct Sales Manager plays a key role in shaping and strengthening these relationships. Responsible for performance across all direct-to-consumer channels – Cellar Door, website, wine club, database and corporate clients – this role balances strategic direction with hands-on execution.
You’ll develop and deliver campaigns, events and communications that foster connection, build loyalty, and drive wine sales and member sign-ups. Working in partnership with the Cellar Door, Brand and Warehouse teams, you’ll help ensure every guest experience feels personal, seamless, and true to Voyager Estate.
Duties & Responsibilities (include, but not limited to):
Develop and implement strategies for the DTC wine sales channels, including member growth and retention
Oversee budget, expenditure and reporting for the Direct Sales department, including wine allocations
Liaise with key stakeholders for wine sales and order fulfilment: Cellar Door team training, order packing with Warehouse team, Brand team for key messages and packaging development
Oversee website product sales and online customer experience
Oversee CRM and associated systems for wine club/database and DTC sales processes Execute EDM and telesales campaigns
Develop and drive member engagement activities and events
Oversee and directly handle customer membership and wine order enquiries
Greet and conduct special tastings for Wine Club members in the Wine Room
Work closely with the Wine Room Manager, Restaurant Manager and support all cellar door staff when needed Direct Manager of the Wine Club Administrator
