The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced hospitality professional who is a passionate, customer focused individual to join the Oakridge team to deliver the best service to our valued customers. You will take pride in caring for our guests and delivering to them the full Oakridge experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervision of Restaurant and Functions
- Daily running of Restaurant
- Cash handling and banking reconciliation
- Function coordination
- Updating menus, wine lists, and additional sales materials
- Procurement of consumables
- Foster a positive culture through continuous support and a hands on approach
- Coaching and mentoring of front of house team
Skills and experience required for this role
- 2 years previous experience in a similar role
- Strong wine knowledge
- Understanding of wage cost control
- Understanding of Improving customer average spend
- Experience with recruitment and selection
- Proven ability to train, lead and develop a team
- Team Focused approach
- Motivation for continued improvement and development
- Proven organisational skills with high attention to detail
- Friendly, professional and energetic personality
- Hands on managerial approach, desire to share knowledge
