Job Description
Pepper Tree was established in 1991 and has vineyards in the Hunter Valley and Orange in NSW along with Wrattonbully and Coonawarra in South Australia.The small winery team is looking for a person to join them full time in the winery. A cellar hand position, this role will be hands on winery work year-round, covering all winery operations from crushing right through to final filtration and bottling prep.

Qualifications & experience:
It is envisaged that this role will be responsible for and not limited to the following:
* Maintaining the highest standard of safety and housekeeping
* Ability to recognise and execute meticulous detail in cellar operations
Tasks will include vintage operations including the following:
* Grape receival and processing
* Wine, juice & must transfers
* Rackings
* Filtration
* Ferment management
* Barrel work & barrel maintenance
* General cellar cleaning
* Maintaining the highest standard of safety and housekeeping.
The ideal candidate will be able to lead by example, and maintain a happy and cohesive team. Logistical skills are a strong asset, as well as a high importance on quality control and time management.
