Vineyard Manager – Colo River Valley, NSW

We are seeking a Vineyard and Property Manager at our Colo River Valley estate.  This full-time position reports to the proprietor and assumes full responsibility for management of the 60-acre freehold property including our boutique vineyard (approx. 5 acres), achieving yield and quality targets for vineyard and ensuring operations are completed safely.  See more information at www.jojosjetty.com.au

This position will suit someone who has previous experience working in vineyards, and agricultural properties.  The position will have some hands-on duties, and you will need to possess a sound knowledge of irrigation processes a strong mechanical aptitude with tractors and farm equipment. You will also understand the importance of safety in the workplace and ensure safe work practices are being utilised.

The ideal candidate will be experienced as a full-time self-sufficient worker with part-time assistance for netting, harvesting and pruning priorities. Note our grapes are delivered to Hunter Valley for processing under guidance from our consultant wine maker.

Skills and Experience

• Experience in horticulture, ideally including vineyard management
• With a practical can-do attitude
• Mechanically minded with the initiative and ability to problem solve
