Quenby Viticultural Services is a progressive vineyard management company based in Great Southern, Western Australia. Due to restructuring we are seeking an Experienced Vineyard Manager. Working as part of a small dedicated team, we are seeking persons for this “hands-on” role, whom have a passion for producing premium quality fruit.

Working in conjunction with our head viticulturist, the vineyard manager will be responsible for all operations on 4 vineyard sites that are managed in Mount Barker.

Duties include -

- Plan and oversee daily vine management activities, including training, pruning, and canopy management

- Achieve target grades and yields for fruit, ensuring standards are maintained.

- Manage vine nutrition and monitor for pest and disease issues

- Coordinate and execute harvest operations to ensure efficiency and quality.

- Monitor and repair irrigation systems and trellis structures

- Manage chemical application and maintain accurate recording for compliance.

- Ensure Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) compliance within the vineyard operations.

- Prepare and manage operational budgets to optimise vineyard performance.

Ideal Candidate:

- Proven experience in vineyard management or a related field.

- Strong understanding of viticulture practices and techniques.

- Excellent budgeting and financial management skills.

- Knowledge of irrigation systems and water management.

- Ability to lead a team and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
