Restaurant Manager

Byng Street Local Store is looking for a full-time Restaurant Manager. Byng Street Group Pty Ltd operates across five locations in the Central West that are well patronized by locals and visitors to the region.

DUTIES

The duties you will be expected to complete in this position include but are not limited to:

· Work together with our chefs to help create innovative menus that will work well within our restaurant

· Being responsible for the planning and smooth running of the restaurant, including planning and running events and functions (such as weddings and regional food and wine events)

· Having consideration for our budgets; organising the purchase and pricing of goods efficiently

· Carefully monitor our stock and maintain detailed records of stock movement

· Account for all financial transactions and reconcile figures daily

· Ensure the profitable and safe operation of the restaurant

· Always ensure that health and safety regulations are met

· Ensure customer satisfaction & experience with dining and service

· Selecting and employing new staff when necessary

· Training and supervising staff to ensure our customer service is always as desired

· Making reservations and welcoming guests and when necessary, taking orders to ensure efficient table service
