Restaurant Manager — Ophelia, Westgarth
Ophelia is looking for a strong Night-Time Restaurant Manager to lead service at one of Northcote’s most exciting new venues.
Located at 85 High Street, Westgarth, Ophelia is part of the Yolk Group — a growing hospitality group focused on warm service, sharp standards, great food, and memorable guest experiences.
We’re looking for someone who brings confidence, care, and presence to the floor. You’ll lead the night team, drive service standards, support a strong venue culture, and help deliver the kind of hospitality that keeps people coming back.
About the role
This is a salary position, working 4 to 5 nights per week.
You’ll be responsible for leading the restaurant during evening service, managing the team on the floor, maintaining high standards, and creating a smooth, professional, and welcoming guest experience
Requirements
We’re looking for someone with:
- Strong restaurant management or senior floor experience
- Excellent wine knowledge and a genuine interest in food and beverage
- High service standards and great attention to detail
- Confident leadership and clear communication
- The ability to train, support, and motivate a team
- A calm, organised presence during busy services
- A genuine passion for hospitality and guest care
