Job Description

The National Wine Centre of Australia (NWC) is one of Adelaide’s leading hospitality venues. Situated in the vibrant East End of the CBD and in close proximity to the emerging Lot Fourteen precinct, the NWC is surrounded by the green space of the Adelaide Botanic Gardens and parklands

We are looking for energetic and experienced Food & Beverage Attendants to join our professional team to deliver a high standard of service with a friendly, positive ‘can do’ attitude and willingness to work across a range of departments including: 

Conference & Events: The NWC plays host to over 800 events per year attracting international, domestic and local visitors. Events include conferences, weddings, banquets, meetings and seminars. 

Wined Bar: Open 7 days a week, the Wined Bar and provides exceptional food, wine, coffee and customer service to visitors of the Centre. The Wined Bar’s Tasting Room offers a one-of-a-kind experience with over 120 fine Australian wines available to sample.

Taikunthi Restaurant:  Located on level 5, Union House on the University of Adelaide's prestigious North Terrace campus, Taikunthi offers an exceptional dining experience with a focus on Modern Australian cuisine.

Stomping Grounds Café: Ideally located in the Adelaide CBD opposite the University of Adelaide and a 1-minute walk from Rundle Mall, Stomping Ground Café provides coffee, snacks and a light food offering of the highest standard.

To be considered for theses role, you will have:

Previous experience as a food & beverage attendant in a similar role (ideally in a hotel, restaurant or function centre)

Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with a diverse range of individuals.
The ability to multitask and perform efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
Proven ability to collaborate and work effectively within a close team.
A flexible and reliable approach to your working roster across a 7 day a week 
A current RSA certificate valid in South Australia (essential)
