About the role

We are seeking experienced cellar hands to join our team.

Working with our Cellar Team, you will assist with the creating, processing and despatch of our amazing wines.
Reporting to the Cellar Leadership team, you will be responsible for:

• Vintage related tasks such as operating the crusher, press and clarification equipment
• Ensuring quality wine production through efficient performance of cellar operation tasks
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of cellar processes and equipment efficiencies
• General cellar task including additions and transfers
• Clarification including Centrifuge and Cross flow filtration operations
• Maintain good housekeeping practices, cleaning and other duties as required
• Play an active role in the Workplace Health and Safety, Environmental Sustainability and Food Safety compliance
• Entering and working in confined spaces
• Working at heights which includes regular access to and climbing of stairs and catwalks
Job Requirements
To be successful in for these roles you will need to be able to demonstrate the following:
• Sound communication, literacy and numeracy skills
• Working in a collaborative team environment,
• Strong organisational skills and able to manage multiple priorities
• Physically fit and able to work at heights which includes regular access to and climbing of stairs and catwalks
• Basic computer skills and experience with touch screens
• Experience with handling chemicals

A requirement of this role is:
• Rotating shiftwork during peak periods
• Holding a current driver's license
