Are you a technically skilled winemaker with a head for logistics and a heart for customer service? We’re looking for a Commercial Winemaker to join our dynamic team and support high-quality wine production with a strong focus on customer satisfaction, documentation accuracy, and commercial alignment.

About the Role
Reporting to the Chief Winemaker, this role bridges production and customer delivery. You'll be hands-on in wine quality oversight, export documentation, and client liaison—ensuring each wine leaves the winery ready to impress both the palate and the paperwork. Your ability to deliver an outstanding customer service will be paramount to our ongoing success as a business.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a key contact for international and domestic bulk wine customers
• Assist with vintage operations, including grape assessments and purchasing
• Conduct technical tastings and provide customer support for wine trials and innovation
• Coordinate shipping/export paperwork
• Liaise with bottling and logistics teams to ensure wines are dispatch ready
• Manage samples, wine specs, and customer communication for readiness and timelines
• Support commercial activities such as pricing, blend reviews, and trade meetings
• Maintain meticulous documentation to ensure compliance and audit readiness

What We’re Looking For

• Degree in Oenology or a relevant winemaking qualification preferred
• Strong experience in a winery role; customer or export experience highly valued
• Strong communication, organisation, and multitasking skills
• Sound knowledge of wine production compliance and export procedures
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and winery ERP systems (Vintrace, EzyWine, or similar)
