Job Overview

Cargo Road Wines is a small, high-quality winery based in Orange with a 40-year history in the region making Cool Climate Wines With AltitudeTM. We are passionate about the holistic management of the vineyard and property and are proud to be the first winery in the world to achieve an Ecological Outcome Verification Certificate from the Savoury Institute. After 25 years looking after the land and improving the ecosystem within our property and surrounding areas, this proves our practices are truly regenerative.

Requirements

The person we are looking for is:

  • highly self motivated;
  • hardworking and diligent;
  • capable and willing to work independently;
  • able to talk with knowledge about wines and local area.

Essential:

  • current driver’s license and own transport
  • current RSA certificate.

It would be an advantage to have:

  • a passion for wine of the Orange Wine Region;
  • a hands on, can do attitude;
  • a strong drive and initiative;
  • retail sales experience
  • hospitality and wine experience;
  • flexibility with hours worked, which will include weekend, after hours and public holidays.

Compensation

Wages will be determined based on experience and performance reviews.
