Cellar Door Manager

About the Role

We are looking for a passionate, people-driven Cellar Door Manager to take the reins of our cellar door operations and help us create unforgettable experiences for every visitor. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who loves managing a friendly and professional hospitality team at a premium venue. You will work closely with the owner and small management team.

Key Details

• Location: Oakbank, Adelaide Hills, SA
• Days: Thursday to Monday (weekends required, daytime only)
• Employment Type: Full-time, permanent preferred

Your Responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily operations of the Cellar Door and Kitchen
• Hands-on front-of-house service, hosting and customer care
• Recruit, induct, train, and review FOH/kitchen staff
• Build weekly rosters and manage team schedules
• Manage stock ordering and supplier relationships
• Handle inquiries, bookings, and reservation systems
• Ensure Cellar Door presentation is always inviting and immaculate
• Plan and coordinate events in collaboration with our team

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Cellar Door or Front-of-House hospitality roles
• Proven leadership and team management skills
• Warm, professional, and customer-focused approach
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with calm and confidence
• Passion for wine, food, and regional hospitality
• Strong communication and organisational abilities
• A growth mindset – always looking to improve and innovate
