Casual Cocktail Bar tender

Tattersalls Club Hyde Park is a Sydney institution, one of Sydney’s oldest private members clubs since 1858. 

Today, our members and guests are serviced in a busy members bar and dining club offering professional but warm/personable service.

We’re looking for an experienced bartender to join the team and can offer casual 30 - 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with some occasional weekend work.

You’ll be driving our evening bar service to ensure our Members Bar is considered ‘the place to be’ for our members and their guests.

• Early finishes - almost always before midnight
• Two consecutive days off every week (Saturday/Sunday) unless of an event 
• Close to public transport connections
• Friendly professional team
• Able to use the Gym (allocated staff hours)

To be successful in this role, you should demonstrate a strong knowledge of wines and cocktails and be a skilled communicator with excellent interpersonal skills. A whisky enthusiast will be highly regarded.

Key responsibilities: 

• Making and serving beverages to a high standard
• Creation of a cocktail offering
• Manage and knowledge of Whiskies
• Monthly stocktake 
• Contributing to overall member satisfaction
