Job Description
Knappstein Wines is a small but dynamic company, which is committed to producing the best wines from the Clare Valley. Known for making some of the finest Riesling, Cabernet and Shiraz wines in the region, our vintage workers will experience some of the best that our region has to offer.
We require dedicated and passionate people to join our winery team for the 2026 vintage period, both in the lab and cellar.
Intended start date – Last week of January 2026
This position will be based at our winery site in Clare, 1 ½ hours drive north of Adelaide.
Meals will be provided during the busy harvest period, and we can assist with finding suitable accommodation if needed.
Experience will be looked upon favourably, ideally 2 vintages experience with special focus on Riesling and red wine production.
Forklift experience/certification also beneficial but not essential.
Successful applicants will be required to perform a range of tasks, from fruit receival and processing, fermentation and barrel management, cellar hygiene, and other harvest related tasks.
Requirements
Applicants need to be flexible to work shifts and weekends when required.
