The Australian Wine Research Institute has an opportunity for a motivated and experienced Executive Assistant to assist our Managing Director and his Executive Management team by providing efficient and confidential secretarial and administrative support.
We are looking for someone who has previously worked in a professional services environment, is comfortable with multi-tasking and takes pride in producing accurate, quality work. You will need strong communication, planning, organisational and time management capabilities, together with outstanding grammar and be able to prioritise workload and problem solve. This position presents an outstanding opportunity for an Executive Assistant with exceptional skills and administrative ability to join a world class research and development organisation.
This role incorporates all aspects of secretarial support, including:
• Excellent word processing/powerpoint/excel skills
• Managing electronic diaries
• Organising meetings/events
• Arranging travel (including accommodation and car hire) and events
• Assisting with Board matters
• Preparing reports/documents/correspondence/minutes
• Liaising with key internal and external clients
About you
The ideal person will have a relevant degree in Business Administration, intermediate to advanced MS office skills and previous experience in a similar role – a professional capable of making a valuable contribution to this busy team.
