This position reports directly to the Maintenance Manager and involves a range of activities including: repair and maintenance of machinery, plant and equipment; general cutting, welding and fabrication work (stainless steel); creation and modification of tools and parts for custom use; and complying with company policies, processes and procedures.
We are seeking a flexible, disciplined, results focused individual. The successful candidate will be required to work both individually and as part of a team with the ability to take ownership of allocated work tasks. Completion or part completion of a trade certificate (Fabrication) and previous experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment is essential. Availability to work shifts, weekends, public holidays and the vintage period is also required.
