The Role: We are looking for an enthusiastic and professional Senior Financial Accountant to be responsible for ensuring accurate financial records and proactively managing our cash flow. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer this role is full time, 5 days per week at our office in Gordon. We will consider less hours over 4 days per week for a strong candidate.
Duties and responsibilities:
- End of month rollover and reconciliation
- Preparation of monthly reporting
- Aged debtors and creditors management
- Stock costing management
- GL account reconciliation
- Preparation of year end statutory accounts
- Monthly fixed asset and capex reconciliation
- Assist AR and AP with outstanding issues
- Assist with budget preparation
- Support CFO as required
Requirements:
- At least 3 years commercial experience in the wine or FMCG industry in a similar role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Tertiary qualification in Accounting/Finance/Business
- Competent in month end financial reporting and preparation
- Strong analytical and problems solving skills
- CA or CPA preferred
