Agnew Wines is seeking an enthusiastic Sales Coordinator to join their team in either their Hunter Valley office in Pokolbin or their Sydney office in North Sydney.
Agnew Wines owns, produces, markets and distributes three distinct labels – Audrey Wilkinson, Cockfighter's Ghost andPooles Rock – each with a differing marketing and regional focus. This role provides great scope to work with some quality brands in significant growth, and also position yourself for personal growth into further sales roles.
Objective and Scope:
The Sales Coordinator is a pivotal position with responsibility for coordinating the receipt and processing of customer orders, either direct or via the sales team as well as ensuring that every step of order taking, processing and delivery is undertaken quickly and efficiently.
Beyond processing of sales orders, the sales support component requires liaison and coordination of the needs of the sales and marketing department and their customers as is required and requested from time to time and would include, but is not limited to, providing assistance to the production management process.
The role
Reporting directly to the Head of Sales and Marketing you will be responsible for:
- Invoice and process wholesale and export orders
- Liaise with the sales team and respond to other sales enquiries
- Support to the Wine Clubs on and off site events development and logistics
- Communicate weekly sales figures to all sales team and ensure Ezy is updated regularly
- Assist with invoicing, credit applications and sales reporting requirements
- Manage warehousing stock transfers and stocktaking
- Ensure stock levels at direct warehousing, partners and customers warehouses copes with demand such that continuity of sales is not only maintained by avoiding any OOS issues, but in particular with customers, such that sales are maximized by ensuring stock is at optimal levels.
- Update all tasting notes for Agnew Wines and distribute to relevant team members
- Liaise with Sales and Marketing Manager to ensure all wine labels are accurate
- Arrange tasting stock to be sent / collected for sales reps
The successful candidate should possess
- A 'can do' attitude, with drive and ambition
- A hands on and practical approach
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and data entry skills – experience with 'EzyWine' or other CRM software data entry advantageous.
- High attention to detail and ability to remain calm under pressure
- A love of wine and social experiences
