On-Premise Brand Development Manager – Sydney Area
The ideal candidate will be responsible for management and further development of On-Premise accounts – fine dining restaurants, bars, 5* hotels, clubs and selected events.
A love for Champagne & wine as well as a good dose of entrepreneurship to drive brand and business development through a strong network within the world of fine dining and luxury is required.
This role will encompass the following key responsibilities:
- Promote and represent the portfolio of brands throughout a defined area in NSW
- Business Development within On-Trade and Corporate sectors
- Develop innovative marketing strategies to sell and promote the portfolio
- Maintain key accounts & provide regular service to customers
- Identify and qualify potential new customers
- Secure listing of multiple brands
- Negotiate pricing and trading terms
- Promote and build product knowledge of your customers & conduct staff training
- Evaluate and monitor specific account promotions
- Monitor and report performance of key accounts
- Plan and execute sales programs and promotional activities
- Launch new products
- Monitor market trends and identify new sales opportunities
- Ascertain competitor information and other activities to report to management
- Achieve sales budgets & brand objectives per product category
- Provide sales forecasts
The ideal candidate would be degree educated with a strong commercial flair with confidence and passion for the wine industry, fine dining & high-end luxury brands.
Required Key Skills & Attributes:
- Confidence and passion for the hospitality trade with a broad existing network
- Demonstrate creativity and strategy in developing new routes to market
- Excellent personal presentation
- Relevant work experience and credibility within the industry
- Extensive wine knowledge
- Strong communication and networking skills
- Strong influential and adaptability skills
- Rigor, ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Be a self-starter with plenty of drive and initiative
- Proactive and motivated, with a finger on the pulse of the industry
- Have great organisational skills
- Be able to hit the ground running
- Computer Literacy - Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
