General Manager (Wine Jobs: Management & Administration)

Vinous Solutions is an independent and innovative wine distributor, importer and producer based in Sydney's Inner West. 

As our business grows and evolves we have found the need for a switched-on individual with industry knowledge, experience, excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The position includes the following responsibilities:

·         Logistics/Operations

·         Business Strategy & Planning

·         Creating and Implementing company procedures across each area of the business

·         Project Management

·         Business Analysis and Reporting

·         Acquisitions Management

·         Budgets

·         Staff Accountability

·         Overseeing Daily Operations

·         HR

·         Working closely with the Director

·         Marketing Management

Essential Criteria :

·         Fluent spoken and written English

·         At least 5 years of relevant experience within the Wine Trade

·         Previous employment and understanding of a Wholesale/Imports-based Wine Company at a senior level

·         WSET Level 3 Award or above

·         Team Management experience

·         High level of attention to detail

·         Proficiency and/or recent experience with MYOB, Microsoft Office and updating custom built websites

·         A calm demeanour  in the face of a variety of challenges from Customer Service, Logistics, Office Management, IT and Telecommunications.

·         A vibrant, confident and positive attitude

·         Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, as well as a sense of humour

·         Passion and long-standing commitment to the Wine and Hospitality Industries
