Based at our Bilyara Packaging and Warehouse centre in the Barossa Valley, this role will manage planning activities within the Production Transfer Warehouse and oversee the execution of the plan to ensure it is best placed to provide an outstanding service to both internal and external customers.
Managing a small team and reporting to the Regional Logistics Manager key responsibilities will include:
•Manage on site inventory teams to ensure inventory integrity is maintained
•Plan and manage inventory movements between PTW's utilising the distribution team
•Actively review and improve inventory processes to fully utilise warehouse resources
•Manage process/payment for warehouse consumables
•Manage Chep pallet accounts for the PTW groups
•Plan for upcoming inventory requirements
•Manage despatch cap process
•Implement and maintain compliance with the food safety and quality management systems
Applicants should have a sound knowledge of end-to-end logistics, warehousing processes and management, in a high volume environment. This would ideally incorporate experience of automated and semi-automated warehousing, understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF technology, coupled with strong leadership and staff development skills.
Tertiary qualifications in Logistics or Materials Planning is preferred. Management or Post Graduate leadership / Management training is highly desirable.
