We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our Winery Earthmoving/Transport team based in the Riverland. This full-time position is responsible for conducting earthmoving activities, operating basic hand tools and a variety of heavy equipment, undertaking basic maintenance and relocating equipment between various sites, along with driving semi-trailers carting grapes during the vintage period. This position is required work at our various Riverland locations.
This position will suit someone who enjoys being a critical part of a dynamic team, finds satisfaction in being accountable for their work and works to a high standard. The ideal candidate will possess solid numeracy, literacy, communication and record keeping skills along with demonstrating excellent time management, effective problem solving and initiative along with having the ability to abide by and contribute to safe work procedures. Exhibiting behaviours aligned to our Company values is a must; Accountability, Teamwork, Continuous Improvement, Integrity and Respect. To be successful in this role you must be competent to operate and hold a current HC, Front End Loader and Excavator licence. Grader experience and licence would be an advantage.
