Cassegrain Wines is a highly regarded medium sized wine producer, based in Port Macquarie, and operating successfully in domestic and export markets for over 30 years.
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to work in our Finance and Administration Department reporting directly to our Financial Controller for 3 to 4 days per week.
Job tasks and responsibilities
Duties and Responsibilities will involve but not limited to:
- Customer Invoicing and Receipting
- Supplier Payments and Expenses
- Debt Collection
- Reconciliation of Key accounts
- Cash Flow updates
- Stock Control
- Banking and Petty Cash
- Generation of month end updates and reports
- Wholesale and corporate sales support
- General accounts and office administration duties

Skills and experience
Mandatory Skills and Qualifications:
- Certificate IV in Business and or Accounting or demonstrated capability through past employment experience and/or relevant qualifications.
- At least two years experience in the similar position.
- Competent in Microsoft Office package specifically with Microsoft Excel.
- Competent in Xero software
- Must be a quick learner as immediate use of Ezy Wine industry software will be required in the role.
- Attention to details.
Function:
Must have a solid background in Accounts administration as our Accounts Assistant will be responsible for the billing of customers, processing of customer receipts, account management and debt collection, payment of supplier bills, bank reconciliations and generation of monthly reports.
