Calais Estate is a family owned and run boutique winery in the heart of Wine Country. This new role to the business will be an integral part of our marketing and administration team supporting all parts of the business.
We are a small team, who like to achieve big things, so you must be a hands-on person who loves a challenge! You will need to be a real team player as well as being capable of working autonomously.
In such a competitive market, it's essential we stay flexible and creative in our ideas and processes. We are looking for a team member who relishes opportunities and is happy to roll their sleeves up and get stuck in on new ideas and projects. You must be able to run multiple projects concurrently and have great time management skills.
Job tasks and responsibilities
This role will report into our Marketing and General Managers and will include assisting and managing the following areas:
- email marketing
- list management
- website content mangement
- social media
- advertising
- memberships and associations
- marketing material creation
- event management
- wine club marketing
- general administration assistance
- cellar door support
Skills and experience
The successful candidate will have at least 3 years marketing or office management experience.
Must have excellent computer skills and experience in:
- word, excel, powerpoint
- mailchimp
- facebook
- instagram
- twitter
- snapchat
A basic understanding of a website content management tool. Joomla preferred but not necessary.
A basic understanding of graphics and working in a graphic program (microsoft publisher or photoshop preferable).
Previous CRM experience.
Must have excellent time management and organisational skills.
Must be customer focused and have excellent phone and customer service skills.
Candidate MUST be over 18 years of age.
Wine knowledge and a passion for wine preferable.
