Our client is a leading winemaker and supplier, with a range of premium stills and sparkling varieties. They have a clear strategic plan to move the organisation to greater levels of wine success, with wines that have big character and lead the way in innovative taste developments.
The role is responsible for the design and style of the wines being produced, the management of the winery and the full life-cycle of wine production. It involves creating high quality wine, managing winery operations, being involved in the industry and contributing to a constructive workplace culture with a fantastic team.
The following skills and experience are essential:
- Wine-making experience including preparation of wines for both bulk and branded sales
- Leadership experience that shows adaptability to certain conditions
- Cellar experience and customer service experience
- Can-do attitude and a sense of urgency
