We are currently looking for an Assistant Winemaker to join our team.
This is a hands on role focusing on cellar management, leading our small team in quality wine production techniques by example.

Key tasks will include:
- Assisting the Senior Winemaker; the role encompasses all aspects of planning and execution of winemaking and production
- Working closely with the cellar team in wine evaluation, quality control, blending, occupational safety and environmental initiatives
To be successful in this role, you will have both qualifications and experience in winemaking, along with the following attributes:
- Completed a degree or other tertiary qualifications in Winemaking/Oenology
- Previous vintage experience
- Previous Assistant Winemaking experience preferred but not essential
- Ability to operate winery equipment
- Knowledge of winery software (Vintrace is preferable)
- Proven ability to successfully lead a small team of staff in the production of high quality wines
- Strong teamwork and excellent communication skills
- The ability to work autonomously and unsupervised
- A commitment to creating a culture of excellence
- High level attention to detail
- The ability to present wines convincingly to trade and consumer
