We are a prestigious and exclusive high-end winery nestled in the beautiful Yarra Valley, just outside Melbourne. We pride ourselves on delivering an exceptional experience to our guests, and we are currently seeking a talented and passionate individual to join our team as a Venue Manager.
As the Venue Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our winery, ensuring that our guests receive a world-class experience from the moment they step foot on our property. You will work closely with our team to deliver exceptional customer service, manage events, and maintain the overall appearance and functionality of our venue.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate all aspects of the winery's operations, including wine tastings, tours, private events, and general guest experiences.
- Lead a team of dedicated staff, providing training, guidance, and support to ensure the highest level of service is consistently delivered.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and industry professionals to enhance the winery's offerings.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
- Monitor and manage the winery's budget, ensuring financial goals are met.
- Maintain a safe and welcoming environment for guests and staff, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and developments to continuously improve the winery's offerings and exceed customer expectations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the hospitality or wine industry.
- Strong knowledge and passion for wine, with the ability to educate and engage guests about our wines and winemaking processes.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
- Proven track record in delivering exceptional customer service and creating memorable experiences for guests.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism and grace.
- Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software applications.
- A valid RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certificate.
