Mrs Parma's is seeking a professional assistant manager to help lead our team in the world of Parma's & micro beer in our vibrant city location.

Mrs Parma's is fundamentally a fun & simple bar/bistro that specializes in Victorian microbrewery beer & Melbourne's favourite pub meal "The Parma".... so if you love a good micro brewed beer & a Parma, this could be the position for you!

Experience in a management/supervisory position is essential. The ability to support, train & monitor staff whilst upholding our high standards of customer service & the daily running of the business is a crucial part of this position. We are looking for like minded people who are reliable, hard working & display a good work ethic. Additionally excellent customer service skills and an obvious appreciation for the hospitality industry will benefit candidates applying for this position.

As an industry professional, we are sure you will appreciate our on site training procedures for all positions & you can look forward to working with a knowledgeable & passionate team.

As well as the general "set up & service" your position will encompass other areas such as:  

  • Cash management
  • Staff levels & roster changes
  • Handling inquires
  • Taking bookings & setting floor plans
  • Trouble shooting
  • Handling customer feedback
  • Venue cleanliness, health & safety
  • Equipment knowledge in areas including beer systems, tills & EFTPOS
  • Product & service style knowledge

This is a full time position for approximately 42 hours per week. We operate 7 days therefore nights & weekend work is essential.
